Terms of Service

These terms apply to the FarmAro mobile app and website, operated by Sayabanna Suresh Mededar (sole proprietor), trading as FarmAro ("FarmAro", "we", "us"). By using FarmAro you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You sign in with your mobile number and are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your profile details accurate.

2. Marketplace listings

Posting and browsing listings for rent, sale, labour and services is free. Buyers, sellers and service providers deal with each other directly. FarmAro is not a party to those deals, does not handle payments between them and does not guarantee any item, price or service. Illegal, unsafe, misleading or prohibited listings are not allowed and may be removed.

3. Shop subscriptions

Shop and showroom profiles require a monthly subscription purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, governed by the Shop Subscription Terms and the applicable store's terms.

4. Agri expert consultations

A consultation is a one-to-one, live audio call of up to 15 minutes between a farmer and one expert, held inside the app.

• Experts. Experts are independent professionals, not employees of FarmAro. We review submitted qualifications before publishing a profile, but advice is the expert's own. It is general agricultural guidance and does not guarantee crop outcomes. Follow label instructions and local regulations for any product you use.
• Fees. Each expert sets their own fee for a 15-minute session. The total amount, including applicable taxes, is shown before you pay. The fee includes FarmAro's platform commission; the remainder is paid to the expert.
• Payment. Paid consultations are paid in advance through our authorised payment gateway (for example UPI, cards or net banking). FarmAro does not store your card or bank details.
• Delivery. Consultations are delivered online through the app. No physical goods are shipped.
• Refunds and cancellations. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Conduct. Both parties must be respectful. Calls are not recorded by FarmAro. Do not use consultations to arrange off-platform payments.

During the current free pilot, consultations are not charged. Paid booking will be enabled in the app with prices shown before payment.

5. Expert payouts

Experts who accept paid consultations must provide valid PAN and bank account details for payouts. FarmAro deducts its commission and any taxes required by law (for example TDS), and pays the expert's share for completed sessions to their bank account.

6. Prohibited use

Do not post unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or infringing content, impersonate others, harass users or experts, scrape the service, or interfere with its security or operation. We may suspend or remove accounts, listings or expert profiles that break these terms.

7. Liability

FarmAro is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, FarmAro is not liable for deals between users, for the quality of goods or services offered by users, or for indirect losses. For paid consultations, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected session.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Vijayapura, Karnataka have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have under applicable law.
